This video is from a quick tour to Westman Islands on a sunny day in 2009. Shot by Pierre. The Westman Islands are a natural wonder that few know about. Here are some facts – It is largest puffin colony in the world. It´s Westman Island championship golf course is considered to be one of the 200 best in Europe. Yes in Westman Islands!! The volcano on the island is one of the youngest volcano in the world – it has in fact 3 active volcanos, this small island. First it is Helgafell, then we have Surtsey and we also have Eldfell. The eruption in 1973 lasted for over 6 months and is best known eruption in the Westman Islands.
